The objective of the program is to create and disseminate knowledge in the field of Psychiatry and allied disciplines .

Doctorate of Philosophy or Ph.D. in Psychiatry is mainly a 3-yr doctoral program. The interested candidates are required to have a postgraduate degree in Psychology or M.Phil in any other equivalent discipline with the minimum aggregate marks of 55% and above from any recognized college or university as a minimum eligibility criterion to apply for this program.
