PhD (Orthopaedics) is a 3-year doctoral-level course covering core and applied sciences related to the musculoskeletal system and correct management of orthopaedic medical problems in the locomotor system. Orthopaedics is a speciality that's practised by surgeons specially trained in bone and joint surgery through an additional fellowship. They use surgery to correct/alleviate pain, restore function and ensure the longevity of the musculoskeletal system. Orthopaedic surgeons are experts in disorders of the musculoskeletal system, spine, and associated structures. Using both surgical and nonsurgical approaches, orthopaedic surgeons treat conditions from joint dislocation to spinal deformity to athletic injuries, helping people get back on track and stay active. GTAE organises PhD entrance exams for all those students who have passed their M.Phil and are willing to pursue a PhD. Degree in a different institute or university. The departments of the apex bodies are arranged by the government apex bodies /UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT etc. GTAE has an affiliation with multiple universities under CSR programs, which allows us to conduct the entrance test entirely online.
