It then teaches about the psychological assessment in pediatric rehabilitation. The course also covers topics such as language development in disorders of communication and oral motor function, adaptive Sports and recreation, orthotic and assistive devices, electrodiagnosis in pediatrics, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, neuromuscular diseases, orthopedics and Musculoskeletal Conditions and the psychosocial Aspects of Pediatric Rehabilitation.

The Doctor of Medicine (DM) - Pediatric Rehabilitation is a postgraduate course offered to students studying the underlying cause and changes for the process of rehabilitation in children, infants, and adolescents. The course requires aspirants applying to have the minimum eligibility criteria of medical certification from a recognized state or central board. Graduates have plenty of opportunities to work in this field of medicine, they can act as physicians in rehabilitation clinics, occupational therapists, or and pediatric sports technicians in the government of private health care facilities, hospitals, or professional sports teams.
