It also carries an important aspect of compliance with the law that is in place to ensure the safety of workers. Proper implementation of laws helps in reducing the severity of the hazard. A worksite analysis forms the crux of industrial hygiene followed by its evaluation and assessment to address the job risks associated with that workplace. Many notable research studies had been done in this field in recent times. With the increase in the research material, demand for a well versed progressional becomes an immediate need. The advancement of the modern technology associated with risk analysis has paved for many breakthroughs in this field.

Diploma in Industrial Hygiene is a subspecialty course that falls under the domain of chemical engineering. The program is designed for both who are directly responsible for industrial hygiene and for those managing the safety standards. It enables the students to gain the right skills and understanding of the strategies that are required for protecting workers from any sort of hazard.
