Physiology is the systematic study of roles and mechanisms in a living being. As a faction of biology, physiology concentrates on how cells, biomolecules, individual organs, organ systems and organisms perform the normal physical and chemical activities in a living body. According to the types of living beings, this area can be classified into the cell, animal, plant, comparative and medical physiology of which the course focuses on the latter. Vital to physiological processes are biophysical and biochemical processes, signalling between cells and homeostatic regulatory mechanisms. The physiological status is the state of natural function, whereas the pathological status indicates unusual circumstances like human illnesses. MD Physiology subject incorporates individual anatomy and physiology includes anatomical jargons, cells and tissues, fundamental skeletal, muscular, digestive, cardiovascular, reproductive, endocrine, nervous, urinary, immune and respiratory systems.
